Our Story
Our Journey
The journey of Maruti Trading Company is built on a legacy of trust, market expertise, and deep-rooted
relationships with farmers and buyers across the agricultural industry.
The Foundation
Our story traces back to 1977, when Late Mr. Raisinghmalji Hotwani established Roopchand Brothers, laying the foundation of a family business grounded in integrity, transparency, and a deep understanding of agricultural markets.
A New Vision
Carrying forward this legacy, Mr. Jethanand Hotwani founded Maruti Trading Company with a vision to expand the business and create a reliable bridge between farmers and the growing global demand for high-quality agricultural products.
The Garlic Capital of India
Strategically located in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, widely known as the Garlic Capital of India, the company operates at the heart of one of the country’s most productive garlic-growing regions and Asia’s largest garlic trading market. This unique position enables us to source premium-quality produce directly from the fertile farms of the Malwa region.
The "Mandsaur Gold" Standard
Over the decades, we have built a strong procurement network and deep mandi presence, supported by long-standing relationships with farmers and traders. Our extensive market knowledge allows us to carefully select premium-grade garlic — often known in trade circles as “Mandsaur Gold.”
A Dynamic Enterprise
Today, Maruti Trading Company has evolved into a dynamic agro-trading and export enterprise with an annual turnover of approximately INR 95 Crore. The company supplies fresh garlic to leading Indian brands in the sauces, spice blends, and food processing industry, while also exporting agricultural products including fresh garlic, onion, dehydrated garlic products, and other agro commodities to international markets.
A Dynamic Enterprise
With strong sourcing networks across Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, we serve customers in countries such as the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and other Gulf countries.
What began as a traditional mandi trading business has grown into a trusted global supplier, combining generational market wisdom with modern trade practices, quality assurance systems, and efficient distribution networks.
